Gage Street, Hong Kong

Gage Street (Chinese: 結志街) is in Central Hong Kong. It is near the escalator system from Central to Mid-Levels.

Gage Street is the downtown area of Central. Many small street vendors sell their goods along the street, including fresh fish, shrimps and crabs, grain, oil and groceries, chickens, ducks, geese, vegetables, fruit, pork, beef, lamb.

As Hong Kong is a rapidly developing city, the primary economy relies on real estate projects in Hong Kong, the town will constantly rebuild.

I took this photo in 2013 because the characteristics of this street no longer exist today and I wanted to keep the pictures of Hong Kong from the past.
