North Point Tram Track

The tram system in Hong Kong was one of the earliest forms of public transportation in, metropolitan areas. It was inaugurated in 1904 under British rule. Hong Kong since its inception has been using it until now.
I took this street scene in 2011. It was on the tram section of North Point, the area with the oldest buildings on Hong Kong Island. Many of the buildings are residential buildings, built after World War II. If you take the tram, you can feel the authentic old Hong Kong street scene when passing through this section.
