Circular Footbridge at Yee Wo Street
This Circular Footbridge at Yee Wo Street Hong Kong Wall Art is the perfect addition to any cityscape or night city photography art print. The circular design of the footbridge overlooks the cityscape, making it a unique and eye-catching piece of art.
Built-in 1963, is located in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, on the Yee Wo Street tram tracks, with a circumference of about 300 meters, connecting Causeway Road to the east, Hennessy Road to the west, Leighton Road and Sugar Street. The bridge adopts a ring-shaped structure not only because of the ingenuity of architectural design but also because the appearance is conspicuous enough to attract more people to use it.
The unique shape of the bridge has attracted Hollywood (Hollywood) filmmakers. The lawless zone described in the sci-fi movie "Ghost in the Shell" gathers a group of young people who resist the mechanization of their bodies; the most conspicuous building in the zone is the circular overpass on Yee Wo Street, the place where the giant robot fights at the end of the movie.
This is an image I took for myself during a feature photo shoot for a client in 2021, and it's the last time I shot a Hong Kong street scene before I left Hong Kong to move to the UK.

from 1 reviewsLove at first sight 🥰It lightens up my living room with excellent vibes. A talented photographer who captured the stunning moment while an airplane gliding low above the old buildings of Hong Kong Kowloon City, which was canvased with unique street view. It brings back my memories of the good old HK Kai Tak Airport. Recalling myself looking down from the flight before landing, saw people walking and vehicle queues underneath creating sparkling light streams that looks like dragons on fire. Vibrant, extravagant and extremely beautiful!
